Dan Straily
I wish they traded Straily but then again I don't have an issue with them demanding a good return.

All Marlins Team
This isn't what @Bald Eagle was trying to do. He was asking for great Marlins in general. He wasn't asking for a "best Marlin at each position" list. Not sure why that Marlins Hall of Fame thread is so confusing to several.

So... this thread is in the wrong forum right or am I missing something here?

I knew the Chargers were gonna lose as soon as I saw Tazawa come out to kick. That guy blows it for everyone.

FYI Brewers series moved to Milwaukee
Only a little? I didn't realize Manfred was such a tease.

Jeter/Sherman still short by 150 million
Oh the Marlins have to pay something in November and if the sale doesn't go through or is delayed they may have trouble making those payments. I get it now. I read it wrong earlier.

Should we bring back Vance Worley?
Someone's gotta clean the toilets at the ballpark so I wouldn't rule out his return.

Jeter/Sherman still short by 150 million
Why would the Marlins have to come up with money if Jeter and Sherman are the ones short?

Then I'm not so sure you understand what the meaning of diehard fan is

FYI Brewers series moved to Milwaukee
Different situation. There aren't 20,000+ Florida residents in Milwaukee this weekend as there were in Georgia last weekend.

Are you still a diehard Spurs fan?

FYI Brewers series moved to Milwaukee
They should be paying us to watch at this point anyways.

I don't like when this is said. An organization can tank a season as the Astros and Phillies have done before but the players are never tanking a season for a top draft pick. Did you see the frustration in Stanton's face the last 6 innings? He wasn't fighting for a draft pick, he was dying to win that game. Please don't imply they were trying to lose on purpose.

This team is like a comedy sitcom now.

2018 schedule released
Next season is already over too right?

How will you react to the firesale?
25 seasons as a fan and still going but that's not what it's about. I didn't say it's "guilty" for you or anyone to stop rooting for the team. You can do whatever you want. You've said all season long that if they rebuild in 2018 that you'd stop watching and now suddenly you aren't sure if you'd stop watching or not. Some consistency would be nice.

How will you react to the firesale?
You've said a hundred times that you'd stop being a Marlins fan if that happened so why is this now suddenly hard for you to determine?

How will you react to the firesale?
I really believe Loria has never purposely tried to screw this team over. He's always tried to do what's best for the team. The problem is he has no clue what really is best for the team.

Stanton chasing history
Stanton's swing created hurricane Irma

Stanton chasing history
Yea the difference between Stanton's totals and everyone else's is something that can't be overlooked either. He's dominating the home run totals, juiced balls or not.

Stanton chasing history
The balls being wound too tight, if ever actually proven to be true, wouldn't be against Stanton at all as it's not something he did so while people may mention it it's not something that would really be held against him.

How will you react to the firesale?
Understanding that this is totally one of those fan written articles that isn't more than just "thinking out loud" so to speak... I wondered how you guys would respond to this one that's trying to say how we can slash payroll down to $55 - 80 million and still stay competitive. Completely ridiculous or are there some valid points in here? https://marlinmaniac.com/2017/09/06/miami-marlins-keep-core/

"This team wouldn't suck so much if they didn't ever exist."

Bud Selig was not the commissioner that approved this team, that was Fay Vincent. Either way, how can the commissioner that approved the team be blamed for any of this?
