D. Lee stats .259 average, 10 HR, 30 RBI, 52 K's Conine stats .279, ,6 HR, 41 RBI, 34 K's I'm probably just biased because Conine was one of my favorites with the marlins but those stats look better. Except D Lee is a better solo HR hitter.

I have been rooting for Lee all year because I really think he has the ability to put up big numbers, but he just hasn't produced when we need him too. It shouldn't be surprising when a player is struggling that the people let him have it, but when he's playing well he is praised. I don't know what's hard to understand about that. A couple of other first basemen I would add to the list that I would say are better than DLee: -Jeff Conine -Jeff Bagwell

Anyways getting back to the topic. I agree it would be very nice to see the marlins make lowell their franchise player, because he is emerging as the best third basemen in the league.

The Devil Rays have Huff. AND... Rocco... :shifty :mischief2 I'll tell you when Rocco is good enough to make the list with those three... now Yeah I have too agree, he's almost leading the AL in batting average. He's also a real good outfielder. The kid is going to be a star for years to come.

Great job by the marlins. Tejera and Phelps did a great job. I think this is the perfect time for the marlins to make a run because redman and beckett are coming back and that will be a big boost for them. :w00t :marlins

Yep, willis has looked pretty good so far, I think he'll get better with each start too. I saw him pitch in spring training vs. the expos, the kid has good stuff.

I'm pretty sure what they're going to do is put Tejera back into the rotation. I would like to see Willis get called up but I don't see it happening.

I think we get the sticks going tonight. My prediction is 9-5 marlins

Let me drop some names that would probably be good fits for the marlins in left field. Bobby Kielty- Minnesota Timo Perez- Mets John Vander Wal- Milwaukee Daryle Ward- LA This would probably not happen, but I would like to see Jeff Conine come back but I don't think that would happen.

If only the marlins had about 6 more spooneybarger's in that bullpen.

That's exactly what I thought when i saw this texan. I thought Conine had to be on there. He was a star for them for many years. Glad to see Renteria on there he is my favorite player.
