I think the Marlins are much more like the 2005 Atheltics than the 2003 Marlins. As much as the 2003 team winning was shocking to many, they had proven players like Lowell, Derek Lee, Castillo, Sea Bass, Pudge, and other guys who had been in the league a while. The 2006 Marlins really don't have that. Cabrera and D-Train??

i think that abe will be fine, he's a rookie with 5 tools...he has a lot of potential and in the month of my he was batting like .287 which means he's improving..give him some time and he will be good

As it is now, the team could potentially be a +.500 team if they had any bullpen. If the FO wants to develope this team while having a competitive team on the field, all they have to do is invest in a bullpen. Think of all the games we have lost in the last three innings!!!

Actually, I would think a name change would make the team a lot more money than it would cost them. Just think of all the new stuff they get to sell with the new team name and all that. Not that I want the name changed or anything. I mean, would it really cost the team anything?? The name change would occur for a new stadium, which means all the signage is new anyways. There won't really be an added expense in uniforms, cause they are still just new uniforms. Maybe the cost of a new design or two, but teams are constantly looking for new designs anyways.. I just don't see where this Enormous Expense is coming from. I agree, we've won two championships already under it and i really like the logo
