personally i think the face of this lineup is gonna be completely changed stats-wise.like now they are a power hitting team but in the next year or two they'll be all about contact and speed. with guys like john raynor, cameron maybin, chris coghlan, gaby sanchez, hanley, hermida. keeping maybe cantu at third and john baker as power hitters one, Baker is a contact hitter two, Sanchez is a power hitter Three, Morrison is within this group four, we are going to spray Sex Panther cologne on all these guys to make them awesome Baker has some pop. Sanchez is not a power hitter, far from it. Morrison needs a year in Carolina, although is the future at 1B likely. ya how can u not say baker has pop and the reason i left morrison is cus he still has a lot of growing up to do

which players on the current marlins 40-man roster do u think wont be returning after this season??? I think the marlins will release hendrickson, mitre, rhodes, nelson, and i think ross or hammer to make room for youth.

I still think Carlos Martinez is an option given his stuff, experience and the fact that he is on the 40-man roster. wow i just saw that carlos martinez gained 30 lbs from 07-08!!! he definently looks heavier!

we got to where were at from everyone else in the lineup and gonzo when hammer was hurt!!! and when your a professional baseball player and your asked to produce with bases loaded and 1 OUT!!!!! you need to try and hit in the outfield and get a sac fly or try to hit it right up the miiddle NOT GROUND INTO A DOUBLE PLAY!!! and for gods sake man hustle it out ur not manny, if u see the reply he was jogging!!!

it was just an offf game for them seriously weve been watching them all year and not once have they played like that. the marlins are were they are at now because there a family when one guys in a slump the other players pick it up. thats wat makes them such a dangerous team cause they get offense from everyone in the lineup. thats something u cant teach no matter how much money u pay ( perfect examples Yankees). so just dont give up on them yet btw i have a feeling hanleys gonna get in a very hot streak to end the year. and besides cantu's in the lineup tonite so that takes some pressure of hammer

i would say him and cameron maybin get called up in sep. 1st of look at his stats second u cant really guess wat their gonna do in the bigs cuz a lot of people said volstad wasnt gonna be more than a B- pitcher and hes already proving them wrong

real marlins fans wont bring him down so hes not producing so wat!!! do i need to remind u all that in the beginning of the year he was batting .350 and producing most of the runs. i think his injury is affecting his performance. honestly i say split starts with gonzo let him rest this off season and maybe he'll come back the way he did in the beginning of this season.
