lol the guy is injury prone, and he's a decent player but I just don't think Johnson is going to add anything to the club in the terms of what we needed... He's a 1b who gets on base, and has little power. WE HAD THAT IN GLOAD, HELMS, SANCHEZ!!! He might learn to play the game well enough to be a pretty good 4th OF in the majors but he looked lost out there when he was given the CF job. They handed him the job, and now he's back in AAA... And look they didn't bring him up! Wonder why? Because they know he's just not major league ready now... He is Far away from being any good in the majors if ever. I'm not saying that we wouldn't do it, it's that the Blue Jays want a lot in return for just Haladay(At least 2 prospects and another decent player) then you'd have to throw in another prospect or current MLB player for Rolen. It would take at least 5 good players to trade for both of them. I would trade anyone except Stanton, and West for Halladay & Rolen to be honest they would complete this team to near perfection!

To be honest, if I'm Admin Beinfest, I'm not a buyer at the trade deadline. I know this sounds silly being 3.5 out of the wildcard, but I have my reasons. I kinda feel that way too. This team is flawed in many ways so I'm very pensive about making a big investment that hurts our future. all we need is a quality bat at 2nd or 3rd and a 5th starter and we are set. its really is all on the offense. how the other site thinks im an idiot when i said uggla is useless is beyond me. What we need is Bonifacio traded along Maybin, and Miller to the Jays for Halladay, and let Gaby take over 3rd base... This would make us the perfect team!

I just don't see him ever being any good I mean he has little to no power, yes he's fast but he gets terrible jumps in the OF, and he has horrible base running skills. We got sold a bad of false goods because he's not a 5 tool player... Not at all, and not by a long shot. At best he will be a .275 12hr 70rbi with 20+ sb more or less every year... Not a total flop I guess but nothing major.... He's no Cabrera. You're really just wrong on everything here. Very good, borderline excellent, defensive outfielder. Exceptional base runner and stealer. He has incredibly high projectable power with his bat speed despite the fact he isn't popping 20-25 a year in the minors right now. A worst case scenario is he turns into Mike Cameron, but chances are he hits 20-30 points over .250 and becomes a low-mid .800 OPSing player, with superior base running and defense. Basically, a top 5-10ish CF in baseball. He's pretty safe with the walk rate, speed, and defense. The only question mark is, does he hit 60 XBH and become an above average CF, or does he hit 80 XBH and become a superstar. I mean, no one is Cabrera. But Maybin, Miller, Badenhop, Trahern, and Rabelo, plus saving... $150 million(?), was worth it. Let me introduce you to a good friend of mines he's called REALITY! Now say hello!! Seriously "Miller, Badenhop, Trahern, Rabelo, Maybin" for CABRERA, WILLIS is not a good trade for us no matter how you slice it! Sure Willis has done NOTHING with the Tigers but who didn't see that coming? But Cabrera has been the Superstar which everyone knew he would be become... Other then Badenhop "The Hopper" who's been simply decent in the pen, and (nothing special but decent) is about the best player we got in that trade the other guys have all flopped! Maybin was horrific this year, and sorry he is NOTHING like what you said he was! I don't know if you were watching the same player as I but he is FAR from being a 5 tool guy. He to me looks like a AAAA player, and not a major leaguer... Another Nigel Wilson or Darryl Whitmore. And with a new park, and "Hanley & Miguel" in the line up son it's worth paying that guy 150million. Sorry guys I don't know much about the minor leaguers, why is Stanton so great? You don't know much about the Marlins either I take it! :thumbdown HA why is Stanton so great? Well Cuz he is ok! He's as close to a can't miss prospect as there is! Much like Miguel Cabrera he's a head of the game at his age, and is projected to put up Cabrera like numbers...
