  1. The key is Stanton. If he gets back to normal and we add one more pitcher this team watch out. When Stanton is Stanton he makes the whole lineup different. I think we could take a little dip if we don't get Giancarlo back but we could also surge if he comes back with fury and dongs lol.
  2. I think we potentially could get someone but the question is who is it and how bad do we want them. If we trade some of our best remaining prospects and get a you controllable 4th or 5th guy I am okay with that. I just don't want a old veteran expiring contract. Unfortunately I think the latter would be easier to get.

Agreed. It baffles me the people that want to put Jose struggling on Don and the AB the night before. Jose has a bad start and that is on him and not Mattingly.
  4. Hurt his right foot/ankle on a play at first
  5. I don't believe on AB by Jose last night is the reason he has been a suck fest today. Probably more due to heat and just it is a rough start and he doesn't have it...
  6. Hey guys... Can anyone tell me who should be the Marlins starter next Friday? Just wondering cuz it will be my first at Marlins park
  7. I fuckin hate Chris Johnson...
  8. I just don't fucking get it. The Braves make Jose even look like an average MLB pitcher. What kind of voodoo do the Braves have on us?

This spot in the rotation is really becoming an issue. The FO really needs to try and find someone that at least can be consistent. Nicolino just isn't the guy at the moment.
  10. I agree that 2 years is best because eventually we will see Prado on the decline. That said he is a great professional and a good influence for our young players. I would be happy to have him back.
  11. I agree. Loria has shown in the past that he is willing to spend to win in the middle of the season at the deadline. He has done it multiple times in the past. I just wish he would spend a little more in free agency.... :/
  12. Would really like 1 BP arm and 1 starter but I agree a starter is more important....
  13. Another solid starter makes us a pretty strong contender. Since Stanton has started hitting the whole lineup has been better and I believe will stay that way.
  14. What I love most is the walk by Ozuna and Stanton and then Bour made them pay. That's good offense having good at bats.
  15. The problem is what value does he have right now? He's a guy who is been suspended for PED use and he has major flags. So how much are teams willing to give you for that Player? I am totally OK with trading D Gordon but if you are going to get any value this year it's better to let him rejoin the team
  16. It definitely could be justified by the front office. I just don't think you will get the value out of him that you would like. If someone is willing to give us a decent arm for him though I am all about it.
  17. Where the fuck has this Chen been?
  18. I have missed Stanton dongs lol
  19. The problem is we want to make a move now it seems. If we wait a team like the Astros may be willing to dump Fister for some iffy prospects. Teams like that aren't ready to give up yet.
  20. Agreed. But what does it take to get him? What is his salary?
  21. Completely agree here. The FO knows this as well, but reality is they are limited. The Dee Gordon situation has really fucked us too. We would be able to move an infielder if he was playoff eligible, but hence Dietrich has to stay period. Is there anyone that would be interested in Dee? I doubt it with his PED issues
  22. We don't have a ton of options. There aren't a ton of top level guys with expiring contracts that we can eat. I would prefer the kid of SD or TB but we may not be able to do It. But let's just sit tight... It's gonna be interesting.
  23. If we get him super cheap I don't think it is the worst move in the world. His track record is a decent middle of the rotation guy and his like 40ish innings seems to indicate he has shaken off a bad start to the year.
  24. MLBtraderumors reporting Marlins are looking hard at Bud Norris. Word is he would be pretty cheap.
  25. McGowan has really gotten better throughout the year... Impressive
