so I have no idea of this Clemens guy. I feel because of such uncertainty, our threshold to win this should be 10 runs. I feel if we score 10 today, we should be good.

 

why 10?

 

take the combined runs that rockies have scored in this series (7). multiply that by 2 to get 14. subtract 5 based on COL theory plus 2 based on clemens' nerves and subtract by 2 (burning of pinch hitters/slumping opposition) to get nine. we score 10, they score 9. bada boom, realest sweep in the room, HOW YOU DOIN'?

yep and preferably cubs have a good showing vs. cardinals. because cubs will be a hot team that we can fare better against. so happy and relieved the braves have been winning lately because we play to highly competitive teams. still...cant believe the mets got a taste of what braves did to us in april.

 

 

Clemens give us 5 solid innings and have Wittgren help bridge the gap. The only other guys left might be Mcgowan and Dunn if Bearclaw, Phelps and Ramos are off limits.

Only guys that should be off limits are Phelps and Barraclough. Should Clemens get through 6, we still have Ellington, Wittgren, Dunn, Ramos. If Clemens can just match De La Rosa (which shouldn't be too hard) , I'll take our bullpen over theirs.

Ramos is probably available but that's about it. Hopefully we score a lot of runs.
