I just got a Jack McKeon card, Pudge card (It's holographic! ) , a Marlins World Champion Shirt, two Marlins flags, and TWO World Series baseballs. Now I have someting they can sign next year! Woo!
  2. I got mine at the Wal-Mart supercenter in Homestead/Florida City. They had a whole rack with them.
  3. The one with Pudge is the MARLINS special edition. The one with Beckett is just a regular SI issue with Beckett on the cover and an article on the Fish.
  4. I was gonna post that but I didn't think that anyone would care. Lol.
  5. It's interesting. Articles on Pudge, D-Train, '97, McKeon, and the play-offs. It also look back on the season, the stats for 2003, how the team was assembled, and more. I suggest people pick it up if they got the cash.
  6. I think the Marlins should let Pudge go to the Cubs. This way the Cubs can win it all next year. The Marlins need Pudge to win. This guy is the heart of the team. I hope management knows this. That post made no sense at all. First you want Pudge to go with the Cubs, and 4 seconds later, you want him to stay here. Go away, Cubs fan.
  7. His numbers are padded because of the protection he had in the Boston batting order. He would have no power at the Pro. He doesn't K alot, but he doesn't walk, either. Seriously, our line-up 0wnz the Red Sox line up. We played against the NL East where every team, even the Mets, have good pitching. They have the Blue Jays, Devil Rays, and Orioles. He would have minimal power at the Pro and it's not like all 162 games are here.
  8. I don't care if Castro is an all-star soon, Pudge is an all-star NOW and is money! Keep Pudge! Catro can start his career at 29. Let's not forget the guy is in legal trouble too. Who knows where that will end up. Has anyone heard anything about that lately?
  9. lmao. I think Walker would be a good addition though. He can hit the homer run, he doesn't strik out a lot, had lots of RBI's, and is what we need, A LEFTY. It makes all the sense in the world if we get him.
  10. LMAO!!!!! MANNY RAMIREZ?!!!!!!! Why would we want a fat, no hustle, streaky, cocky, arrogant, player like him when we have Lenny Harris? Just kidding Lenny, I LOVE YA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! MANNY RAMIREZ!!!!!!
  11. You've been saying that for a long time, I guess... Yeah. A couple days now..... >_> BTW: Walker hit 13 home runs in 2003 at Fenway. How do you think he'll fair at Pro Player!? He hit 6 homers in Fenway.
  12. UberUbi I respect your opinion but don't call me stupid or my opinion. First, Both Pudge and Lowell have capable replacement on the team RIGHT NOW. Castro is ready in my opinion, and if Pudge resign and Castro is traded you'll see it from a far. Cabrera do I need to say more. The only thing IMO that is holding the team back is the PR hit it'll take if they trade Lowell or don't resign Pudge. Pitching wins championship ie"BECKETT" AJ if health is equally if not better than Josh. This pitching staff IS what is going to take this team to next level (A Braves run) I wasn't calling you or your opinion stupid. Maybe it was the wrong word. Anyway, castro hasn't proved anything expect that he can hit Pinch hit home runs. He doesn't call a very good game either. We lose everytime he plays.
  13. Because we've been wanting a power hitting lefty for a while now and it's the only thing that we lack in our line-up. Not guy that hits 20-25 homers a year but someone who has occasional pop like.... TODD WALKER. The guy I've been wanting us to get since the World Series ended.
  14. True. But if we keep the it the way the stadium is right now, I think we NEED a power hitting lefty.
  15. I like having a smaller more comfortable stadium. Hopefully we'll keep the teal tower and the triangle but bring the walls in a little, if we do, I hope we keep D. Lee. He could average 40 homers if he stays until 2007!
  16. I recorded it and everything but I'm makin' a CD and I'd like to have it. Anyone?
  17. As much as I like AJ, it would be a lot smarter to keep Pudge and Lowell. Saying you'd rather have AJ even if it cost Lowell and Pudge is somewhat stupid. He didn't do crap for us this season and Lowell and Pudge have proven their big time players. AJ still has lots to prove especially after an injury. I want him back, but we did win without him so it's not like we're hurting ourselves.
  18. Isn't there also an ESPN the Magazine curse? After all, what happened to Willis's season after that? I remember that. D-Train was horrible!
  19. That was boring. They didn't even talk about JP's freestyle.
  20. Uh... there's only one way to get experience in the majors... to play... in the majors.
  21. There has to be some kind of a curse.
  22. It SHOULD stay the Florida Marlins. I live in Homestead but I've seen every games this year and I love the Fish.
  23. Everyone is saying AJ should be a closer. Go look at other topics.
  24. That team could have been great in the play-offs if it wasn't for their offense. They had great 'Yankee' like pitching.
