Pavano a number 6 starter is crazy. Most teams don't even use a number 6 starter and it would NOT be Pavano. If he was with a team that was so stacked that he couldn't start, he would come out the bullpen without question. Pavano has been up and down in his first years in the MLB but he, Beckett, and Penny all matured and I'm pretty sure we can get a lot for any of them. (Not that I want to trade any) I'd take that Redman for Williamson offer because we'd get another starter if AJ isn't ready.

It'd be great to get Williamson AND Benitez + Vlad. But that's not going to happen.

Actually, I never liked Pudge. Sure, he came up big for us and I was happy, but that doesn't mean I liked him. He only came to the Fish because they offered him the most money.

You're overrating Benitez.

I know we got Urbina because we were making a run, and I had no problem trading away Adrian Gonzalez for him, but we basically traded for him and used him for half a season, and now he's gone, and so is Gonzalez. I know we did what we wanted to do when we got him, but we gave away one of the best prospects for a player who was only used for not even half of the season.
