I don't know if it's been posted yet, but the Braves traded King, Marquis, Wainright to the Cards for Drew and Marreo. It cetainly makes them weaker, especially because JD will probably spend most of the season on the DL. But we won't be able to see JP 0wn King anymore! :lol

We still Jesus Medrano for 2B and Chip + Nunez for OF. We really need a SS.

I don't the Marlins are looking for a back-up catcher. We already have two of those. If we can't get Vlad or Javy we have both positons covered anyway, which is great. we SHOULD be trying to get bullpen help but if we get Vlad, WE DON'T NEED A BULLPEN!!!!!!!!

I'm not really that concerned with the speed. We still have two of the fastest guys in the majors and everyone is a good base runner.

Does that mean we won't have enough money for AJ? I sure as hell hope not. AJ is still great and would have been great last season if it wasn't for the Torborg Effect. I could care less about Pudge because we have the future for Catcher already in Castro. But AJ is a young starting pitcher who has already reached his potential.

A Puerto Rican catcher. Weather it be Pudge, Lopez, Castro, or even Santiago. I'm sure if the Marlins can't get Pudge or Lopez they will try to find a realiable veteran catcher and Santiago is that. He may not play every day but he could split time with either Redmond or Castro.

He already has power. Why would you work on something you already have? He's probably trying to hit better. Spreading his hits. Trying to go the other way, trying to pull some balls, trying to be a better all around hitter.

The O's have already said they're going after Lopez first. Pudge will sign with a team, but I don't think any teams wants to sign him for 5 years 50 million because he's getting old. If he gets injured or starts to do crappy they still have to play and pay him.
