Why did you vote yes?!

What are the chances we can get one in Homestead? * Lives in Homestead * That'd be awesome.

Miami says no to land or money to help build stadi
That poll is rigged! I voted no 30 times and most of them went to yes!

Worried about rotation...
Penny and Pavano may have had a combined 26 wins but most were because of our offense. They both had high ERA's and now we won't have Enc, Lee, and Pudge.

You guys are killing me.
2004, right now, looks to be good on the field for the Marlins. Who knows, maybe loria wins the Florida and New York Lottos, plus with some extra painting sales and season tix money, we could have a ballpark. Right.

Worried about rotation...
Right now, the only solid pitcher we have is Josh Beckett and it remains to be seen if he can stay healthy a whole season. Mark Redman was steady the whole season but he's gone. I'm hoping people haven't figured out D-Train and if they do, he needs to change speeds and adjust. Penny and Pavano were great in the play-offs and I hope they matured there and will be solid next year. AJ won't be ready until mid-season so right now, we don't have a number 5.(Justin Wayne? Mike Nanninininainainainainaianianainaian?) And the bullpen doesn't look to good either.

What Happens If.....
IF That happens we'll probably send him to the minors and/or trade for someone. But it probably won't.

Funny story...
Signing Guerrero would be a major coup, but at this point seems unlikely. Still, word spread so much at the Meetings that Phillies manager Admin Bowa approached Marlins manager Jack McKeon about it. The conversation between the rival managers, who previously worked together in the Padres' organization, went something like this: "You're getting Guerrero," Bowa said. "What are you smoking?" McKeon responded. "I'll bet you a steak dinner you get him," Bowa stated. "Admin, I'll buy you five steak dinners if we sign him," McKeon said with a laugh. As farfetched as signing Guerrero seems, this Marlins regime has reached for the sky before. It seemed funny at first.

Why not the Marlins on acquiring this guy?
You know who would be great out the bullpen? http://montreal.expos.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/m...playerid=425646 It's not happening though. He had 10 wins and never even started a game, 46 strikeouts to just 13 walks, and had a nice ERA. Expos would be stupid to trade him but he would be great if we can get him.

Redman Officially Traded to the A's
I changed the statement because even I didn't believe what I said.

Redman Officially Traded to the A's
Javy + Some bullpen guy and/or an outfielder would be better than Vlad. In two years, Miguel Cabrera will 0wn him!
-
Redman Officially Traded to the A's
I don't mean spend it all on him, but he would take a lot of it.
-
Redman Officially Traded to the A's
With 14 million we could get one player, Vlad or Javy, or we could get some bullpen guys and an outfielder.
-
Redman Officially Traded to the A's
we are getting cash OR a prospect In that case, I hope it's cash. We have enough prospects.
-
Who's left?
WE DON'T NEED A DAMN LEFTY! WE HAVE THE BEST LEFT HANDED PITCHER OF ALL! MICHAEL "I like to throw the ball into the dugout" TEJERA! Seriously, Thome is scary so we NEED a GOOD lefty.
-
Redman Officially Traded to the A's
I love the trade. Mike Neu was actually doing very good in the bullpen early in the season but then didn't get into games because of Keith Foulke. And we got cash and a prospect too, good trade.

Negative article might prompt positive action
Jack McKeon = Heart Of The Team. The fans will continue to come to games because we offered Pudge a contract. He's the one who wanted more money. I'm pretty sure every fan that has a clue in SoFla knows we couldn't keep the whole team together. We DID get some good players though. That deal with the Cubs could turn out to be just like the one with Dontrelle/Clement/Alfonseca. The guy from the Dodgers looks like garbage, but there's time to improve and he could someday be a fan favorite. (DOUBT IT!) Screw that no name *******.

Should we hope...?
Javy was nearing free agency and decided to work on his game so this offseason it would seem like he's one of the main free agents out there even though he's not. Before the season started, no one was looking forward to the offseason for Javy Lopez. But because of his numbers, he's one of the best free agents out there.

Benitez Or Williamson
Farnsworth would be happy if we picked him up. This way he won't have to be a victim of the rare Mordecai bases clearing double.

When does the winter league end?
I was talking about the Puerto Rican one, thanks Admin.
