  1. I'd do that. We need more power and out hitting coaches would set Soriano straight. He would know that every at bat doesn't feel like 500 pounds and he could have fun and relax. Not that we don't need Penny, but with AJ back, anyone of our starters (Besides JB) can be trade bait.
  2. I'm glad we can finally agree on something, Ramp. But Alomar is old and Grudzy is... consistently inconsistent.
  3. Really, there are none besides Louie. Some can run, but the averges are low. And some can hit, but not steal bases.
  4. we need a 2nd basemen that can run and hit for avg. not a mediocre underperforming waste of salary 2nd basemen. There aren't many 2B like that right now. I can't think of any. Can you name three minus Louie?
  5. I'm just saying, if we couldn't get Louie back, would you guys take him? I love Castillo and PRAY we keep him.
  6. Well if he played good for almost 162 games and did his part, teams would want him and maybe it was just the pressure on Louie. Walker was huge for Boston and would be a nice number two hitter.
  7. As much crap as he talked, he only made 3,450,000 this year. I'm sure we could get him cheaper than Castillo, would you guys wants him? I just saw his numbers and in 587 AB's he only struck out 54 times, can we afford his a**?
  8. I don't know if anyone saw this but... Monday, October 20, 2003 TEAM San Francisco Giants Declined their club options on the contracts of first baseman J.T. Snow and second baseman Eric Young for the 2004 season; announced that pitcher Felix Rodriguez exercised his player option for 2004. off http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/transactions
  9. I hate Uggy in that picture.
  10. I hate Uggy in that picture.
  11. Great post. This was an outstanding season and I'm sad it's over. I love how no one gave the Marlins a chance even though they were in the WORLD SERIES!
  12. Can't forget Todd Pratt either. Talking crap about they have the Mets next. Ha. WE HAVE THE WORLD SERIES!
  13. Every game anyone goes to next year, you'll see it. Every time you see a Marlins logo, you'll see it. Every time you buy Marlins merchandise, you'll see it. Every Marlins web site you go to, you'll see it. Every video game you play next year, you'll see clips from the Marlins for once! Best night ever! I said it on ESPN.com and I'll say it here, They proved Bobby Valentine, Harold Reynolds, Karl Ravich, LL Cool J, Peter Gammons, ESPN, Sportscenter, Baseball Tonight, New York, The Yankee's, The Cubs, The Giants, San Francisco, Chicago, Todd Walker, Derek Jeter, every troll, everyone who talked CRAP , and the entire BASEBALL world wrong!
  14. Remember mid-season when many fans were saying we need to trade him because he isn't pitching, he's throwing? Who would have thought that we'd be in the World Series and he could be our MVP?
  15. Pavs out the bullpen could be huge. Everyone says our team is the better team in a short series and right now, it's a short series. Last home game of the season tonight, should be fun.
  16. We have a great chance to win tonight so I don't think we'll need to start Beckett in game 6. If we do lose, I say we start Beckett. He's ready for a challenge no matter what it is. On th other hand, they'll have Andy Pettite for game 6 who is very beatable.
  17. I was happy to see two guys who have been struggling come up so big last night. What a great ending to a great game.
  18. I've never been so excited and nervous about a game in my short life! After last night, I wonder who's going to step up tonight. We could beat David Wells' fat a** and it's not automatic, but we have to be the favorites tonight. All ANY of the analyst say is this will be a battle of the bullpen and I hope it's not true because Penny never goes many innings in the first place but depending on who starts Saturday, Redman or Willis can come out the bullpen.
  19. Pavano told McKeon he couldn't go on so it wasn't reallt Jack's fault, people... As for Beckett, we need him later this series and after such a long delay, Jack did the right thing. You people cimplain when we win, when we lose, when we win series and when we lose games. Jack's got us this far so I wouldn't question him.
  20. Lots of Sea Bass bandwagoners tonight, eh? I for one have been saying all along we'll need him and not to bench it. Loop and Gonzalez have the Marlins fans back on their side, but it took Uggy's horrible outing to do it.
  21. Things that suck about good rookies, they want more money by the time they're 25.
  22. GO MARLINS! :lol :w00t :confused :shifty :mischief2
  23. Some people, including me, are hypocrites. We don't get fan support except for 16,000 a night and when we do get support thanks to all the bandwogners, we hate them.
  24. Sorry man, but that's a terrible picture.
  25. So what? Does that mean the Marlins should not pitch Beckett more? I don't think so. If some old man like Randy Johnsen can do it, a young guy like Beckett can. You're doing this on purpose aren't you? I mean, look at the picture in you sig... And if you're not doing this on purpose... go learn.
