farmer_fran
im creating alot of real Marlins minor leaguers then i will start a full franchise... I want to do that too, but I'm not sure what pitches some of our minor league pitchers throw. Anyone know what pitches Gracesqui, Nannini, Scott Olsen, Trevor Hutchinson throw? HaloRedFever
I just got done playing my first game in the "Dynasty Mode" and boy was it hard. I cannot pitch worth crap and I certainly don't know how to hit a homerun either. When I played the other day in an exhibition game I was blasting homers with Vladdy everytime he came up to bat. But now that I started a "Dynasty Mode" and put it on "Pro" difficulty level...I can't even hit a double. Anybody know what direction you're supposed to pull your swing to hit it out of the park? I need some tips because I'm dying here, I wanna start hitting some bombs! :mischief2 I did however win my first game with the Angels...we came back and beat the Mariners 9-7 in 10 innings, woo-hoo! :thumbup

QuickGold
I bought the game when I bought my Xbox last week. Now, let me say I loved World Series Baseball 2k3...it was absolutely perfect. That being said, I was desperate for a new game so I bought MVP to hold me over. At first, I found MVP very dumb. I couldn't pitch without letting up 6 runs per inning, I was happy when I got a legit hit myself and forget about homeruns. After toying with about 5 exhibition games on Rookie, I've learned the basics and gotten the hang of it and it is indeed awesome! Watch the video tutorial to get an idea of how the game works but it's a great game. Now, getting back to the topic.... I put the game on All Star, and am playing Dynasty Mode with the Devil Rays(I like teams that aren't guaranteed to be #1) and signed Urbina at the beginning of the year. With that said, 8th inning, down 4-3 to Chi Sox, Crawford gets 2 out single and then Baldelli smacks a 2 run HR to the deepest part of the field. So my pitcher is done so I bring in Urbina cold for the 9th and pitch b-e-a-utifully! God, I had to turn off the xbox after that game to savor the flavor

I tried to sign him with the Rays and didn't have enough money, that was before I signed or created anyone.

You could sign him with D-Rays but I opted to turn off the Budget cuz I don't want to suffer needlessly for a few years Besides, I'm just using Dynasty mode as a stand in for Season mode so I may not play more than 2 or 3 seasons cuz I play every game.
