The man always ended the year with good numbers, but it was a matter of when those numbers were accomplished. Most occurred when we were ahead by enough, or too far behind for it to make a difference. clutch = hits that tie the game, or put your team in the lead.

They were up two, actually, but we all know that two run leads in the 7th inning are insurmountable, and that any runs added to that lead are completely pointless.

April 20, 200422 yr Author They were only up by two when that happened so I'd consider it pretty big. The Reds could have easily got a guy on base and hit a home to tie it if he didn't hit that granny. Easpecially with the way that series had been going. D. Lee was clutch today... Amazing.
