Anti-Clutch hit a grand slam

Featured Replies

Cubs were up 3-1

Congrats either way Derrek

That is the kind of thing he did here. The Cubs were up by 3 late in the game when he hit it.

The man always ended the year with good numbers, but it was a matter of when those numbers were accomplished. Most occurred when we were ahead by enough, or too far behind for it to make a difference.

clutch = hits that tie the game, or put your team in the lead.

well im glad he atleast jacked one out

they have been calling him KLee recently

They were up two, actually, but we all know that two run leads in the 7th inning are insurmountable, and that any runs added to that lead are completely pointless.

Good for Derrek. He was a big part of our team last year.

I wish him great success in Chi-town....but he can cool off when we come to town in September......lol.

They were only up by two when that happened so I'd consider it pretty big. The Reds could have easily got a guy on base and hit a home to tie it if he didn't hit that granny. Easpecially with the way that series had been going.

D. Lee was clutch today...

Amazing.

Believe me, if the Cubs are up by 2, it is an EXTREMELY surmountable gap.

I was happy as a pig dipped in s*** when he hit that thang. Go Cubs.

what a shame the cubs are cursed. it really is................ pppppppfffffttttttt

Yawn.

A 25 mph wind-aided grand slam when already up by two and the Reds weren't hitting crap.

I know right! Two runs is insurmountable. What does he think he was doing? He should of struck out and waited until the next game.

Overated but certianly a good player.I'm glad Fish decided not to pay him 9 mil.
