last night during the game when AGON made a couple good plays, tommy kept saying that some fans in so flo don't appreciate how AGON is such an above average SS defensively. i think he was taking shots at those fans who complain about his hitting problems.i agree with him. could tommy possibly be a fan of this site?

I can almost guarantee he's heard of and/or been on this site....

Media guys, team front office people, and even players know about fans sites and lurk anonymously on them (or in the case of Red Sox people like Curt Schilling, post on them). That's a fact.

People don't even know how incredible A-Gon is in the field. Its more than just range with him...hes flawless at positioning himself for each hitter which makes some plays look routine that otherwise would be hits, errors, or flashy plays that could be easier. Thought of as one of the top defensive infielders in the game.

If someone knows that a Marlin has been on here why can't you just say it?

They might not want you all to know. ;) Because 1 naturally people would bug him to death and might never post. 2 unable to say anything that could be determined bad in a post and then media finds out he is saying bad things and everyone goes ballistic

Hi my name is Tommy Hutton...all of you Agon bashers are complete idiots. :lol

Being as big as an Agon supporter as there is...even I admit he needs to at least get over the mendoza line..batting under .200 is embarassing for even some pitchers. There's no doubt that he's a gold glove caliber SS but the fact remains having that big of a hole in the lineup will do more harm than good.

That being said, if he can somehow bat .250 CONSISTENTLY and play the defense that he plays, he's more valuable than a majority of the SS's in the league. I wonder how often our starters buy him dinner for bailing them out of innings with his amazing D?
