Hugg
sport: requires hand-eye coordination, great concentration A lot of video games require those 2 things. Playing video games isn't a sport either.
miami15
yeah sports require athleticism they used to do this thing in SI, and for hunting they said it can't be a sport because your opponent doesn't know he's playing
AJB34
but if its a competition there are trophies handed out and you DO have opponents. i have to give it the nod :thumbup

DaGreatOne
No Requires no athleticism and can be learned with practice unlike baseball and other sports which your usually born with the skill and instinct which cant be taught.

rferry
It's a hobby, and when you start being competitive over hobbies you become a dork.
TarHeel324
It's a hobby, and when you start being competitive over hobbies you become a dork. good point competitive hobby does not equal sport
Dodge
I am an avid fisherman, but I don't think it's a sport. Rather, like cheerleading, it's a competitive event. Thus, my vote goes to neither yes or no. :cool

Rebirth
Fishing is more like a hobby. As for hunting...it shouldn't called a sport. If so, cops shooting criminals would be a sport.
Dodge
Nascar is not a sport! That's fine if you want to think that. But it sure is enjoyable to me. :cool

Phlub
Now being from Wisconsin there are the 5 Pillars of Life up here... 1. Packers Football (blaze orange Packers jersey's included) 2. Beer, Bratwurst, and Cheese before the big Packers or Badgers game 3. Church 4. Family 5. Hunting & Fishing (blaze orange included as well) I don't hunt. But I'm an avid Bass fisherman (I prefer Smallmouth Bass), and there is no doubt to me that Hunting & Fishing are not sports. And Wisconsin is basically the Hunting and Fishing capital of the world and they require no physical skill what so ever. None.
