I only heard him for a few minutes but what I heard was something along the lines of this:

He also lost credibility with me when he stated that the City of Miami is requiring the Marlins to pay for any cost overruns in this agreement. He said that could be a deal breaker because the Marlins would never agree to such a thing. But if FAT Hank had been reading the papers he would have read of the countless quotes from Samson saying that the Marlins are willing to pay for any cost overruns. Samson has been saying this since Day ONE!!!! He also keeps on saying how is the City going to pay for it since it has no money. Hello Hank, its coming from the Miami Arena sale if it happens. Then he goes on to say how schools will be screwed. Are schools being any less screwed now that the state did not pass the rebate, Hank??? Geez! Every team gets a rebate. The Marlins should get it as well for their new ballpark.

Someone forgot to tell him that the Schools are already getting shafted even without the Marlins stadium. He should just stick to horse racing and get off the Stadium issue already.

Him and his partner are trying everything to stop the deal. Seeing the city votes on it tommorrow May 6th. So it was expected they bring it up today at all cost. Tommorrow won't be any different, with so much going on in sports with the Heat and the NBA playoff that they bring up a topic that isn't a topic at all. I heard from someone that they bring up the topic and no one would call about it. It wouldn't be a shock to me if they planted a call or two to get a negative spin on this. I hear he was calling people "stupid" because they let this take place...he's reaching :lol

 

Another thing why does this guy get so caught up with the price of the stadium? It can't be 325 million, they can't built it for that amount, SO WHAT! THEY ARE PAYING FOR ANY OVERRUN so please can someone tell why this is a topic?

Because he's hellbent on proving that its all a conspiracy by the Marlins to trick the city into giving them a stadium. Remember how his "sources" told him that the Marlins were trying to not get the stadium so that they wouldn't have to pay back MLB for the loan? And how he kept saying "They aren't getting a stadium", "There IS no stadium deal" and so on and so on?

fat hank is just jealous the dolphins have lost some of the steam they had before. last time i read the dolphins haven't won a title in 30 years and haven't even been to the SB in 20 years. Why do guys even waste your time listening to Hank and his mini-me (Mike Berardino). By calling his show you are validating his point that he can be a bumbling idiot on the air because he gets listeners and callers.

 

If enough people stop listening to this idiot maybe we can actually get rid of him.

 

I went out and purchase a Satellite Radio this way I can actually listen to sports talk on the radio.

I'll be perfectly honest with you. I've stopped listening to Hank's show all together and turn the station to listen to 940 Fox Sports at that time. Problem is that my radio was tuned to 560 at that exact moment when he was talking his BS.

I've pretty much switched to 940 for the most part too.

Stu Gotz and Toast are atleast much more objective IMO and to me its more more entertaining radio. I just still can't get over that he has the co-jones to come on and say something like that!!

Write Hank a letter and itemize your complaints about his behavior. Be specific.

for real, he gets way too emotional over the dumbest things, it's really the most entertaining part of his show, you can hear it start to build up in his voice when a caller even slightly starts to have an opinion different then his, then you know it's comming, the shouting, the insults, etc. and it's funny whenever he gets a prank call too, it's the complete opposite, he gets all quiet and shaken up and says the same thing every time "can we get his number? give me his number? we've got your phone number now" man i wish i could hear what those people say to him (they always dump it) because it really seems to shake him up and he has to go to break afterwards. haha

I don't understand, what does he have against this team? His arguments obviously do not work so he is just trying to get in people's minds that the marlins are some sort of evil. Saying the marlins won't win a championship in 20 years is a reeeaaalll bold statement. Look at Cubs and Red Sox. A lot of teams haven't won the Series in 20 years. Its not an easy thing to do. Does he realize the phins havent won in 30?

Now it seems Hank supports this deal as planned. He thinks this deal as structured is very optimistic. But if the Marlins can build this ballpark with the way this deal is structured now, he says he will support it. I guess he did not understand the deal yesterday when he ranted and raved.

The only good sports show on QAM is the Mad Dog. He's the only reason to listen to QAM for sports talk. Otherwise, I listen to Stu Gotz and Toast, and Jorge Sedano on 940.
