May 9, 200422 yr The one that annoys me the most is when people go to buy food right when the inning is starting its like they rather watch the big screen and see if they get on tv than watch the actual ballgame.
May 9, 200422 yr I would have to say when the marlin hitters hit these extremely high pop flies and everyone gets excited but it does not leave the infield. And then they sit down and say "Damn I thought that was going to be a homerun" IT DIDNT LEAVE THE INFIELD!!!!!
May 9, 200422 yr You should have added "People that do the wave" to the list. I'm trying to watch the game, and people are standing up in front of me.

OMG I HATE THE WAVE!! it has to be the most annoying thing about attending a sporting event ever! i never get up, let the idiots boo me. i paid for my f***ing seat. i aint getting for some stupid s***. ill vote for getting food constantly during the game. its so f***ing annoying, its like they think you paid to watch them get up constantly and stuff theyre fat asses. they go get food one inning. 2 innings later they go get something else. next inning a friend shows up causing the row to standup. next inning they go use the bathroom. its f***ing annoying
May 9, 200422 yr Author You should have added "People that do the wave" to the list. I'm trying to watch the game, and people are standing up in front of me. Yeah I should have added that but thats always been at the park even though I hate it but these things are happening now with all these people who have never been at a baseball game before. I got no problem with them coming because we need people to support the team but at least pretend you know what a baseball game is all about.
May 9, 200422 yr I have to go with the cherring. The same holds true for groundballs, as soon as they make contact they start going nuts and it ends up being an easy out. I wonder what the Marlins think when they ground out but end up getting cheered.
May 9, 200422 yr When they leave early! That just pisses me off! It just shows how loyal they are....
May 9, 200422 yr When they leave early! That just pisses me off! It just shows how loyal they are.... The damn truth. The Padres have 3 run rally and everyone gets up. From the chicks wit the cabrera jerseys and some dudes wit the pierre jerseys...... they think that buying their favorite players gear then dipping in the 9th before the Marlins are up to bat is being a fan.... makes me feel bad for the players. It seems like a comeback is tough but it isnt supportive when the players look and see the massive crowd exiting at a rapid pace.
May 9, 200422 yr i personally dont like it when babies fall asleep, i mean, why do they come if they're going to just sleep thru half the game? do parents even raise their children right nowadays? how are they going to grow up and become hardcore marlin fans if they let their babies sleep during the bottom of the 4th inning???? hahahaha, jokes jokes. i dont like it when people buy real expensive seats and leave when the team is down.
May 9, 200422 yr I couldn't care less when other people leave. If they want to waste their money and uncongest traffic for me a bit when I leave after the game, more power to them. I can't stand the cheering every ball in the air thing. I listen to these games on the radio and the damn fans fool me constantly, I hate it. Standing up and leaving is a common epidemic at any sporting event. The NHL (or at least Columbus) doesn't let fans reenter the seating area while the puck is in play, they have black curtains, they shut them, and you're out there til the whistle blows. That's awesome right there. Ushers tend to say something when you get up during play too, at least. :thumbup And the wave sucks.

May 9, 200422 yr I am going with a write-in entry - "Knee Jerk Reaction by Die-Hard Fans" I've been to 3 games this year, 2 of them sell-outs. The crowds have been great. What's wrong with being enthusiastic, would you all rather have them sit on their hands or boo our team whenever one of those fly balls don't leave the infield? Geez!
May 9, 200422 yr It is so annoying when they stand up to get food during an inning...and Ive seen them continue to stand up even when people are screaming at them to sit down! Its amazing...its like they have never been to a baseball game!
May 9, 200422 yr Ive got two... People gabbing on their cell phones about something that has nothing to do with the baseball game... People who come to the game just to get wasted... Both of those irk me more than anything.
May 9, 200422 yr Yeah...some of them spend so much money and they dont even pay attention to the game...their was a kid in the first row who was playing gameboy instead of watching the game...and they wasted so much money just to buy those seats....I don't know why bandwagon fans even come to the games...
May 9, 200422 yr So that they can say, "I went to the game last night" and look good in front of their freinds... :thumbdown
May 9, 200422 yr So that they can say, "I went to the game last night" and look good in front of their freinds... :thumbdown lol...thats true. But if they want to do that than they should try to sit right behind the plate....so they can see you on TV in the background.
May 9, 200422 yr The worst experience I had with a bandwagoners was when I went to Wrigley field last year and had very good seats along the 1st base line outside of the covering. A guy came in bough beers for everyone on the row and left by the 3nd inning. Those tickets were not cheap either. :banghead
May 9, 200422 yr I think that they just come to the game if they hear that a lot of people are going...and if they see that its very popular to go to the game then they will go.
May 9, 200422 yr I can't stand when people get excited over a double play, when we hit the ball to short with the bases loaded. It's a double whammy and makes me feel awful.
