What do YOU want?

Featured Replies

Obviously all new stadiums have their quirks and unique features. Let's brainstorm as if we were the ballpark designers. What things do you want in our ballpark?

manual scoreboards, funky outfield walls, nice scoreboard, non retro park, i would like the bullpens to be on the field, a main street type thing like in miami lakes, a ballpark that looks open when the roof is open like in seattle but with the roof on the third base side, something that will make the park unique. a huge marlins script sign and fish like in the 2001 sketches for the downtown site.

BTW: no green seats, it's getting boring, i would like a ver very dark teal, almost like a dark green. black fences.

Scoreboard to be electronic, but elegant.

The outfield to fit the contours of the property.

Well lit field and stands.

As retro as Roger Dean.

Main street type thing between the new park and the OB.

I think teal seats for normal sections and silver for special sections (such as the blue at PPS) would look sweeeeet. And I like the black fences... you could outline them with teal.

Strip Club in the outfield overlooking the field, so I can get a lap dance while I watch the game.

I want something that pays homage to the Orange Bowl, and the Miami Marlins of old.

I want a quirky outfield with the teal monster included. I'd also like something that pays homage to the baseball fields of old with the clay path leading from the dugout to the batters box. Bullpen would be on field. The foul ground would be medium like it is now. As for attractions in the outfield, I'd like something like a giant Marlins head over in left field or a Marlins sign and the outfield to be electronic like in CBP minus the cage though. Seats I'd like to be a light teal color so you don't burn your ass on it during the summer with the roof open.

There done with my wishlist.

The Bullpen like in the Phillies new Stadium, which is two bullpens on the top of each other. But to stop the badwords and fans screaming and the pitchers, i wouldnt let no one on top of the bullpen.

An open air pavillion level so you can watch the game as you get something to eat or drink.

Bullpens where you can see who is warming up.

A nice electronic scoreboard....with graphics and replays.

Like the Braves park...I love that stadium. Dollar seats and I can watch the game from any angle I want.

open pavilion with restaurants ... bars ... marlins store

I want that somewhere in the ballpark.

Center field is a good place. That is the fountain sculpture at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale. It's huge!

HELLA lot. (Courtesy of the Twins' new stadium)

BTW, I would like the bullpens to stay as the currently are...out of play, but down the lines.

:thumbup

That would allow for additional sitting at a later date.

all i really want for sure is big and creative dimensions. very spaceous and make it known as the best pitchers park.

a nice elegant electronic scoreboard.

and a huge jumbotron where every fan can see it. (may need 2 jumbotrons like PPS)
