The difference between him and A-Gon/Castro is that he actually has a lot of upside.

I don't really care at all. First off he's only 21 so its not like he won't learn better palte patience as he has already shown with his large number of walks (compared to last season). Count me in the not worried hes doing awesome file.

As long as he's only doing this at 21 and as long as he knocks the crap out of the ball I could care less.

 

BTW: Pierre hasn't K'ed all but 7 times this year. HOW A'BOUT THAT!

Another thing about strikeouts. Everyone Ks in this new era of HR baseball. If you look at the numbers HR hitters strikeout a lot more than non-HR hitters. So, unless you want a bunch of pencil stickers you will have to deal with some Ks, which actually arn't as bad as people make them out to be. Its just another form of getting out. As long as the player is walking to get on base at a steady clip (see Sea Bass and Castro for examples of players who cant walk, but strikeout a bunch) then hes in good shape.

P-Funk coulda struck out 200..... but the man produced and still does (when hes healthy of course).
