Maybe just maybe the Pistons had more talent being that they actually had a bench and role players unlike the Lakers.

 

Yes, Jackson was outcoached by Admin Brown, a hall of fame coach in his own right, but that does not mean he doesn't deserve all 9 rings or isn't a great coach.

IMO, with all the crap the Lakers had going on this season, the Lakers shouldn't have even been in the Finals. They had no bench and were battling injuries the whole season. I'd like to see any other coach hold a team togethor after dealing with , Kobe Rape Trial, Malone injuries, Payton's diminishing skills, team injuries, etc etc.
