sorry im a bit late on this but, does any1 know why a K is used cuz i dont

'cuz it's the unique letter in strike, and there's too many other scoring notations using the letter s.

sounds like good guess, anyway.

btw, you guys my only pbp link to this game... I'll be nice...

Your announcers are very annoying people because they don't announce....they root. Disgraceful.

they are fox sports florida broadcasters, they are catering to their demographic, its not like this is a national game, they should make it more enjoyable to the people watching, if it were espn i would agree entirely, but its not.

Damn, how could this happen? He wasn't just doing good... he was AMAZING!!! Lord knows what could have happened if he was ok. 23 k's maybe? :shifty .

But for real.... damn i can't believe this!

f*** man, josh beckett is turning into the ken griffey of pitching

Hopefully it is just a minor thing and more precautionary to take him out than anything

I like it. They are the Marlins broadcasters and it's nice to hear them support the team. I hate it when I watch another team's broadcast and their guys don't seem to really care: "oh..yes...that's a home run. next up:.." I love Len's "DEEP to left...OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!" It gets me more excited for the game, personally.

And uh, Beckett. NOOOOO! Would've been funny if the trainer gave him the hand though.

i hope it's nothing serious, i want to see this 5 man rotation pitch dammit.

Man this is depressing...

I just hope Josh is okay, because that was starting to look like it may have been an incredible outing for Beck.

You can tell he was just crushed having to leave...

Let's all cross our fingers. :(

In the meantime we'll get another long look at Ben Howard, who among our current relievers I think has the best chance to win the setup job.
