THAT'S MY DOG!

The thing that really made me laugh, " That HR tasted great, and had less filling!"- Tommy Hutton

I just thought of a good line!

Fo shizzel bizzel! It's the D L double E! - Snoop Dogg on Derrek Lee

uhh...keep working on it Josh. :whistle

Now lets see if the Marlins can hang onto the 5-1 lead THIS time...

uhh...or maybe not. :D

Well, being a member of America's youth, I say hell yea to that!

Which nickname is better?

Derrek "please" Lee(ave)

OR

The D L double E! (with the snoop voice saying it)

I kind of always liked "Derrek Lee"... :whistle

Anyway, it's nice to see him starting to heat up. It would have been nice if he was like this earlier, but it's better now than never!

LMAO! The D-Rays broadcasters (Statts) said, "I can't belive I couldn't get that foul ball... and this is a long fishing net... I should have corked it.."

:lol

I'll stick with D-Lee myself...

Derek coming up to bat looking for homer #3....

strikes out. Still another chance coming later.

Middle of the 6th, 5-1 Fish.

Updates: Mets losing to Texas 5-3 in the 4th. Expos, Braves and Phills all play late.

What's been happening in the Rays-Reds game DT?

Redman's at 109 pitches, they'll send him out to pitch the 8th inning.

I would think this would be his last inning. Spoony's warming up in the pen.

Nice easy game. Redman hasn't been in much trouble today. Got some double-plays, only 4 K's, but he's been effective. Yet another solid outing for Big Red. :thumbup

Single for DLee. 3-for-4 tonight. Hopefully he's heating up.

However last week he went 4-for-4 in a game, then went back into a slump again, so who knows with him.

Alex hit by a pitch. 2 on for Holly, this would be a good time to break that 0-for-22 slump Todd....

Double down the line! 2-run double for Hollandsworth! :cool

7-1 Fish

Lowell singles to left, Pierre scores.

Banks comes in to hit. Brain singles to right....Clark dives and can't make the play! Ball goes all the way to the wall. That's a 2-run double for Banks.

12-1 Marlins.

Alex finally grounds out to end the inning. 12-1 Fish as we head to the 9th. I think even Vlad Nunez could hang on to this lead.

Allen Levrault comes in to finish off his old team in the 9th. Oops, gave up a solo shot to Wes Helms. What's up with 10 homers for Wes Helms already?

Final line on Mark Redman: 8 innings, 123 total pitches, 0 earned runs (the 1 run was scored after Lowell got a throwing error), 3 walks, 4 strikeouts. ERA now sitting nicely at 2.83. :cool

Levrault is screwing around here in the 9th....got 2 outs after Helms' homer, now has given up 4 straight hits and it's 12-4. Jenkins finally grounds out to 3rd.

Marlins take game 1. Good start to the road trip. Willie the Kid takes the mound tomorrow.

Nice to see D.Lee do something and hopefully he cna keep producing...
