Offense still a major problem

Featured Replies

Point is, no one got the big RBI CLUTCH HIT in the 7th...ok, rbi walk...great, but this team has struggled to get runs off of hits and they barely did it again tonight...The Braves helped the Fish tonight, the Marlins didn't help themselves with timely hitting

the offense isnt all of a sudden going to come back

we got 2 hits from the bottom of the lineup in late inning, they both scored. its a start

good win

Two words....Little Ball....

We're not a power team, we're a finesse team...run run run....The little guys got on and the team took off, it's really on JP and Luis.

Looking at FishFanInPa sig...Gammon's updates his Beltran sweepstakes list, and Marlins weren't on it, now he's saying Yankees are sneaking in...

dont u mean Small Ball?

We are taking way too many first pitch strikes, and constantly find ourselves behind in the count, with only garbage pitches to swing at.

Wright and the other Braves pitchers threw 22 first pitch strikes tonight...we watched 14 of them with the bats on the shoulder.

Of the 8 times we did swing (Pavano accounts for 2 of those) we got 4 hits.

We are getting good pitches to hit early in the count, and are not taking advantage.

We need better balance to keep the opposing pitchers honest.

In the past 2 games, Louie has swung at the first pitch 3 times which is something he rarely does. 2 times for and out and tonight he almost hit into a DP but his speed was able to break it up and tie the game. In another AB he didn't swing once and struck out looking. Poor Louie can't get a break.

At least he got an RBI for the one first pitch strike he hit......beat out the DP!

We had clutch walks, which have the same effects. Where there is smoke there is fire. Stop complaining about how we won.

dont tell me what to do

the team's bats arent awake, its a fact, and it is not good

we got lucky as hell tonight, face it Also got lucky with the Bartman incident, Jose Cruz dropping the foul ball...its part of the game...Payback for Cabs giving away the game earlier this year I guess
