OK, I was trying to stay away from sports references, I guess I need to add Sonny Jurgensen and Grant Hill to that list. Oh, and I nearly forgot the 1960 NL MVP, Dick Groat.

And while we're also at high schools, my HS (Suncoast) produced Anthony Carter (the college football HOFer and former Dolphin, not the idiot PG Pat Riley trusted with his coaching career).

You could also add the 10 players in the NBA from Duke then.

I'm gonna go ahead and ignore Furman

Since I don't know many from my college, I'll throw out some from the damn long list Belen has spit out:

Fidel Castro

Roberto Guizeta (the late CEO of Coca-Cola)

Manny Diaz (mayor of Miami)

Mel Martinez (sorta, long story) (US Senate candidate)

Marcelo Llorente (State Rep)

All the Diaz de la Portilla

My mind is slipping, there's a few more in the Florida legislature, and they are all over Miami in major businesses and all over the government.
