- The drubbing College of Charleston put on Maryland in the 1997 NCAA Tournament. C of C was the best mid-major program that year, but were well underseeded and they took their revenge on my Terps.

- 1997/8 Marlins season. Haven't enjoyed watching a Dolphins game since.

- January 1995. Nebraska handed both the AP and coaches titles over a more deserving Penn State team.

- Terps losing to Virginia in lacrosse in the 2003 NCAA tournament. But the payback this year was sweet, blowing them out and ending their chance at a tournament berth.

No goine in 60 seconds haunting memories? :lol

2002 Dolphins-Pats. "ok guys, its the last few minutes of the game. ricky has well over 100 yards yards. so i want jay to throw 3 crappy ass passes to make sure we blow this one"-wanny

2004 Duke-UNC. pick either one, its all depressing

1991, 1992, 2001 NCAA final

2003 NLCS game 5. i know it all turned out good, but that was one awful night

2000 UNC vs. UF final four. carolina had it in the first half and blew it

Carolina BBall 2002-04. wow weve sucked

1999 Penn St-UM

and of course the most depressing game ever...

2003 Fiesta Bowl: UM vs. the f***S, i mean bucks

Eagles-Bucs

Eagles-Panthers

Temple-Seton Hall (NCAA Tournament)

Flyers-Lightning Game 7

Basically any Philadelphia playoff game excluding the Sillies cause I dont give a crap.

The biggest is the Fiesta Bowl in 03. No question.

All the Heat playoff appearances, losing the to the Avalanche in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup, Aaron f***ing Boone, Watching the Marlins play right now, all the Cane times that have been mentioned, and Gulliver coming back from down 21 to beat Belen on a last second three from half court this year by Antonio f***ing Jones.

Im going to have to say you are not a Duke fan..... :lol :lol :lol

i've never truly been disappointed or heartbroken in football or baseball.

the closest thing would of been the NFC title game in 94 i think when teh niners destroyed the cowboys.

baseball has left me with few heartbreaks....thats what happens when your team actualy exceeds expectations adn then falls back to the pack. :plain

now basketball..tahts a different story.

as a spur fan your expectations are high.

79 ECF Spurs blow a 3-1 lead to washington in a series of questionably officiated games.

91 (i think) semi's against portland...rod strickland's behind the back pass to nobody..that sucked.

93 i think agaisnt the suns...barkley closed down our home with a jumper ending the season.

95 against the rockets in teh wcf...the dream absolutely went off...that still pains me to today.

2001-02 the lakers destroying the spurs...especially 2001...that was painful when teh lakers ran the score up...i hope the favor can be returned sometime soon. bastards.

2004 .4 seconds. need i say more?

i'd love to get a reference in to the hated jazz...but they never enacted teh huge heartbreak i've come to live with

and Gulliver coming back from down 21 to beat Belen on a last second three from half court this year by Antonio f***ing Jones.

s***ty ass called game, s***ty ass fans, s***ty ass school

We still whipe the floor with you ;)

Most depressing moment? Probably the 03 Fiesta Bowl. The Canes deserved to win that with the fact that it was a low and nasty tackle that took Willis Mcgahee out of the game.

Next most depressing? Probably watching the Panthers get torn up by the Avalanche after they were screwed over by the Avalanche having to have Beezer's stick removed. Game 4 was just flat out amazing.

-losing to Gulliver in the Baseball regional finals this season.

Losing 5-2 and game ending on a double play with bases loaded.

That's another one, losing to Gulliver in the regionals 2-1 even though Gaby K'd 13

I think we were the closest to beating them the entire playoffs.

yea i think so

But who pitched for Gulliver against you guys?

464738

The skinny lefty, the one who missed the district finals cuz of a stomach problem. He wasn't that good, just our offense decided not to show.

Kinda satisfying that Gulliver won the thing though, since half their team is Belen rejects.

I wish we faced him

We faced their ace who was throwing 96 Chris Garcia

Yeah it really sucked cuz it was a great pitched game on both sides, Gaby only made one mistake and it cost him (well the errors didn't help much).

It sucked that our pitcher had to provide his only run.

I don't get sad when officials hand games over. I get angry.

mine are:

- Dolphins vs. Patriots in the 2002 regular season finale. i still got the playoff tickets i didnt get to use that year

- 2003 Fiesta bowl :plain

- 1999 NBA Eastern Conference Quarterfinals game 5: knicks vs. heat. i still get sick to my stomach when i see that ball bounce around the rim and drop in. I still wish Allan Houston would break both his knees.

- 2000 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals Game 7: Knicks vs. Heat. f*** you Jamal Mashburn. that is all.

- 2000 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals Game 6: Heat vs. Knicks. the reason why game 7 was played in the 1st place. heat have big halftime lead. heat blow big lead. Game 7 is needed. :plain guess who led the comeback. :plain

- 1995 AFC Divisional Playoff game: Dolphins vs. Chargers. Why Pete Stoyanovich (sp?)? why man?

- Colts vs. Dolphins at the pro during the '99 regular season. Dan leads a great comeback to tie the game (which we had no buisness even being in because of how bad they played) only to see Manning get the Colts in FG range with 2 plays and the idiot kicker nailing a 50 something yard FG as time expired.

- Dolphins vs. Jets. to many to write about.

463891

you probably left off several heartbreaking dolphins games (god there have been tons), but i'd say that list is more or less right on for me.

i'd also throw in heat-knicks game 5 in round 1 of the 98 playoffs and the game dorsey lost against the huskies.

How is giving turnovers the refs taking over?

Sore losers scape goat = The Refs.

MLB: Game 6 of the 2002 World Series. Dusty blowed it for us, as he always did.

NBA: 2002 Games 6 & 7 Western Conference Finals. Refs screw over the Kings.

NFL: 1992 and 1993 NFC Championship. Niners should have won both times.

NHL. 2004 Western Conference Finals. Sharks should've won.

College B-Ball: 1997 Cal vs. UNC Sweet 16. If we had won, we would have gone all the way, and we would have won if we had Ed Gray

College Football: 1998, Nebraska named "co-champions" with Michigan, which was BS

ill take a wild guess and say there is an anti-gulliver sentiment here

466356

I dont hate them at all.

They outplayed us in the regional finals game and if I would see one of the players from the team I would congradulate them because they deserved it.
