Koch has been inconistent, but we have far worse problems on this team than a setup man with a mid 3 ERA.
July 20, 200421 yr LOL. mid 3 era, FINALLY. and that's not even THAT impressive, considering he comes in for middle relief! you know what tom gordon's era is? 1.7 something rookie of the year otsuka? 2.4 something linebrink, lidge, k rod, mota, rincon? ALL WELL UNDER 3.0 ERA, WELL UNDER. koch's 3.5 this month, i dont care what month, is s***. yeah, good for KOCH, cause he's so naturally awful. but terrible otherwise! 466179 there's nothing "terrible" about a 3.5 era. a 4.0 ERA is above average for a major league reliever. if koch can maintain a 3.5 era for the rest of the season, i'll be very, very happy.

THANK YOU GOD. 3.5 THIS MONTH for middle relief, the NORMAL billy koch is higher than that.

July 20, 200421 yr Koch had 2 bad outing in Chitown, take them out he was a mid 3 era guy thanks for playin
July 20, 200421 yr Author he's had a bunch of terrible outings with the marlins.. like sunday vs. the pirates, remember that? 0 innings pitched, 3 hits, 2 er, and the loss?

July 20, 200421 yr Author oh wow, 6.2.. that's "ok", and it happened ONCE. how about the 7 innings prior to that? SIX EARNED RUNS! and that takes us back to the first game of his marlins career.
July 20, 200421 yr Author his s***ty era is cause of his s***ty pitching with FLORIDA his era in may was 3.6 and april was 4.82 which is still pretty s***ty but got worse with florida, cause it's at 5.35 NOW
July 20, 200421 yr Author i don't know what else you want me to prove to you. i despise koch and wish he never made his way down to florida. the white sox are probably laughing, and i can't blame them.
July 20, 200421 yr i thought the tread read which is your least favorite marlin,it doesnt matter how good or bad there doing, sometimes you just dont like someone...like Koch yea he's not doing that bad but guess what i dont like the dude,so i guess that means i dont know s*** about basball right cause i dont like the guy that doing alright...oh and choi yea i dont like him either even if he was hitting .325,yup i guess am an idiot again and dont know squat about baseball...Conine the guy is having a tough year but man i would have this guy on my team anytime, cause again i dont know anything...whats OBP? or that RBI thing...yea i most not know cause i dont like choi or koch...Ill go toe to toe with anyone on this site about baseball and trust me ill be over 500%...this was a thread about who you dont like not about the stats....oh 1 more thing i love the D-train and he gets rocked every outing...guess i dont know anything..
July 20, 200421 yr least fave hitting: wtf nunez least fave pitching: bumper i just dont trust those guys
July 20, 200421 yr Is Oliver still on the team? I think he is but you wouldn't know it. 466446 Oliver is the backup plan tonight in case Bumb runs into early trouble. Oliver is the long inning middle reliever. We just haven't needed long innings from a middle reliever in a while. He'll be ready and waiting tonight. Hopefully, he won't be needed tonight either.
July 20, 200421 yr i have no problem with DO starting tonight or in any fill-in role its really amazing just how much he sucked as a regular in the rotation
