July 21, 200422 yr I remember last week when Burnett pitched they said Willingham wasn't likely to catch him because of Burnett's style. The coaches apparently didn't like the match up, as Burnett is harder to catch than most pitchers. Many starting catchers will rotate out on one pitcher. I wouldn?t be surprised to see Willingham become the regular starter, but still take a day off when Burnett pitches (much like Javy Lopez who would never catch Maddux when they were with the Braves). (speculation)
