It has been announced today that the Florida Marlins 1st round pick in the 2004 Entry Draft, Taylor Tankersley, will be the Jammers starting pitcher Friday July 30th in the 2nd game of a 3 game series versus Vermont.

It'll be interesting to see how this kid progresses through our minor league system.

Good we need to start developing a better minor league system. Hopefully he turns out better than Allison.

Well, I finally have something to smile about today.

Tankersley went 3 innings giving up 0 hits 0 walks and 5 K's.

Good to know we still have talent in the farm system even if it is at the rookie level, this kid could be at the AA level as soon as next year.

Yeah and his luck carried over too jamestown gave up 1 hit and lost lol
