July 29, 200422 yr I want in...and I know that this is totally baseless, but there was a conversation about this at the start of the year...the player's appearing on the season tickets. Lowell, Cabrera, Pierre, Beckett, Castillo, Willis, we all know they're untouchable, but Conine and Penny are on there too...that has to count for something in the eye's of the FO. Penny being traded makes the most sense, but is a pretty big long-shot, and as for Conine...well, I will cry if he's traded, and I'm more in favor of Choi getting the boot over Conine (even with tonight's heroics), but Conine can't be moved for Admin Walker. Hell, we need bullpen help more than anything...forget adding a bat, there's no one out there who is going to substantially upgrade us enough to warrant trading or benching Conine. Add me to the keep Conine club :thumbup .

July 29, 200422 yr i agree conine to stay i remember when i was younger and had season seat wit my paps to 93' season n conine was my fav player cause of his intro song the "dog barking" would hate to see him traded but if its best for the team hell do it. also if we keep saying we need a bat and need to keep conine how are we gonna get someone u gotta think team before player
