Where did the Picnic Area go?

Featured Replies

When I went to the game Friday, I noticed that the entire Picnic Area near right field had suddenly disappeared, leaving only normal seats. Did they remove the section to get ready for football?

Fins whoo! Unlike everyone else I still see a 10-6 season ahead of us. Anything short of 9-7 is a disappointment. The Pats did it in 2001 without Glenn their top reciever and they never had a running game to two years they won it.

Anything 8-8 or above without Boston and Williams is a gift from god.

not really.....we went 11-5 without Williams, Boston, Chambers, McMichael and Ogun in 2001

Blame the damn Dolphins.

So you dislike the Dolphins too? The Dolphins rock. BTW: It isn't JUST the Dolphins, when I called about that area, they said it was there just for the summer.

Duh, it sits in what is the End zone corner. Those seats are expensive so the picnic area goes so the Dolphins can sell those seats. The bullpen also gets covered and seats are put in.

its not huizenga's fault the picnic area is gone...

you have a dual purpose stadium...i mean...the picnic area isnt life.

But Huirzenga is a huge jerk for dimanteling the marlins, but without him, there would be no marlins.

The dolphins would be best just getting the first overall pick and making this a rebuilding year. That said, we will probably go 9-7 and miss the playoffs, giving us the 22nd overall pick.

its just a f***ing picnic area

i wont miss it

Agreed. Those damn seats are expensive too. And your required to have like 25 people too.

Yeah, this is a Marlins forum.

Dolphins can go somewhere else.

It's funny watching football predictions... "Dolphins will go 10-6", or "Dolphins will go 9-7"...

And here we are worried cause there are only 50 games left in the baseball season.
