Seems like all his home runs come off at bats where he averages like 8-9 pitches

Good to see that the long layoff didn't cool off the bats...5 runs and 8 hits in 5 innings (with two homers) and only one K (by Burnett) is a very good sign against a pretty damn good pitcher (though one that the Fish have handled this year).

Congrats, Alex! I hope he'll reach 20 - in AA in 1997 he hit 19 homers, although it should have been 20: an unmpire who didn't know the ground rules of Hadlock Field failed to call a hit above the yellow "home run line" a home run. It was on the last game of the season, too. In his first postseason at-bat that year? A home run. :D
