Any excellent ones?

 

Of course everyone has loved those to Universal or Busch Gardens or SeaWorld, but have any of y'all been on any great ones that have been different?

Sophmore year in Highschool at South Dade. I was in chorus and we went to New York for a week and performed at Carnegie Hall conducted by FSU choir professor Dr. Andre Thomas. Got to go to the World Trade Center, Staute of Liberty, Empire State building, and go to go to TRL and see Carson Daily and Tyrese. And a bunch of plays Stomp and ragtime to name a couple.

LOL i didnt want to say Islands of Adventure....but it was! It was an overnight thing and you got a hotel room with your friends. Obviously the guys were on one side, and the girls on the other, but it was still fun. The chaperones didnt really care when we snuck out and stuff. It was awesome...

 

And plus, i've never been to a field trip out of state...i'm sure if i had..it would have been that one.

i dont think any of us have been on a good field trip within 50 miles of our school

In 8th Grade my class went to DC and Baltimore for like 3 or 4 days. Went to ESPNZone in Baltimore a bunch. It was just a lot of fun.

I haven't been on a real field trip since sixth grade which would be uhh...ten years ago. I remember one to an indian reservation which was pretty cool.

 

Oh and in spring break of my junior year in high school, I went with the drama dept to London which was, of course, awesome.

Every in county field trip we do is a letdown. Unless you love missing school :thumbup

 

San Francisco-- what an incredible place to go on a field trip. Imagine going on a cross country plane with your boys.

that's pretty sad

never got lucky enough to go on a long distance field trip.

 

 

8th grade when i lived in arizona we went to the desert museum. it was a great place. went up this mountain they had up there and just walked around outside. good times.

7th grade trip to the state capitol of Springfield, can't say why since this board has members under 18.....

Trips to the Actor's Playhouse were always fun. Too bad we don't have a real museum in Miami as we are the only major city in America without a real museum...

its an excuse to go on a vacation.....and it has to be a high school thing.

 

 

of course i never partook in the public educational system in America.

Busch Gardens in 11th grade.

 

Never been anywhere else that was very cool.

to the Keys in 6th grade

All my field trips suck!

in 5th grade we went down to the keys for 3 days...we learned how to snorkel got to swim with sharks and swim over a reef...i loved it!

I haven't really had any good fieldtrips. Most of them had to do with gifted therefore they sucked...one time my teacher took us a restaurant with a rainforest theme? Just to eat? Wtf?

 

Another one was going to Mast Academy during elementary to see a dead shark and some fossilized crap.

 

All the rest were just plays or reward field trips =|

I don't know about you guys, but I thought the Everglades was pretty cool.

in middle school i used to go bowling every year...bowling field trips are common but since i had the same class for 3 years we knew each other well and it was super fun
