September 23, 200421 yr According to the Wrestling Observer, Ray Traylor (aka Big Bossman) died in his sleep at his home last night. He was 42.
September 23, 200421 yr Don't watch much wrestling anymore, but I do remember him well from the good old days... Sad when you consider how he ? like many other pro-wrestlers of his generation ? died so young. May he R.I.P.
September 23, 200421 yr One of my first memories as a wrestling fan was what would be the start of The Bossman/ Andre The Giant team during The Mr. Perfect/Bossman IC Title match. Sadly it never developed with Andre's passing. Now both men can rest, RIP Bossman
September 25, 200421 yr that sucks. BossMan was one of my favorites as a kid. Golden Age of wrestling IMO.
September 25, 200421 yr Oh man.. That guy brings back memories. I don't watch wrestling anymore.. but I was just thinking about the Big Bossman last night believe it or not! lol I remember like 5 years ago, I was at this independant wrestling league and the Bossman was the 'special' guest.. there were but 100 people there watching.. anyway, i was all over him. The whole place could hear me trashing on the guy and he was getting so pissed at me... he was giving me glares like he wanted to kill me. Pretty funny.. but now I feel kinda bad.. poor guy
September 28, 200421 yr RIP Bossman, this is pretty sad another wrestler gone at such at a young age.
October 4, 200421 yr Damn, that sucks. I rarely watch wrestling now because it has turned to s*** since the WWF bought WCW and got complacent, and I stopped reading wrestling websites. This news is shocking. Das, If Bossman died from anything other than "natural causes," it was eating too many pizzas and maybe some type of drug (probably pain killers from the history of other wrestlers). There is no way Bossman has ever taken steroids.
October 4, 200421 yr ^^^^ That's what I was thinking. Those guys must take tons of pills to ease the pain. It does take its toll.
