To Miami UNC was just some schlub team they have never played, so they were obviously unmotivated. You can't say Miami is a bad team faking it. At least when Miami played subpar teams in the big East they had some rivalry going, since they have played them before. And like last year after the first loss they game out flat and lost to Clemson. Wake is worse than Clemson but better than UNC. But this is in Miami's backfield, and they know they are 2 wins away of another BCS birth. And of course they'll get up for VT, that has been their arch rival for the last 5 years. If UM makes the BCS again, they will be the only team to do it every year since the BCS has existed.
