February 7, 200521 yr Well, I've been strapped to the chair for hours now...I got the the catheter all hooked up! So I'm good to go... My early commercial favorite so far has to be the Bee Gees, "Stayin' Alive" song, the best!, and the guy walking to the beat of it..and the Queer Eye guy turns around and looks at him :lol Also the gut robbing the convenient store...he's taliking to somebody on the phone, and the clerk thinks he's talking to him. Looking forward to Halftime Show! Wouldn't it be great if Ringo walked out as a surprise! :o And played the drums!! Heck!! George Harrison's son looks just like him! And plays guitar! And Lennons son sounds just like his father....they could get the whole Beatles sound!! I hope Paul does, "Baby I'm Amazed" , "Let It Be", and prob won't do "Thank You Girl"...a Beatles song I'm tying to get my mind off of what I saw yesterday! I don't know know what I did to derserve what I saw? I wish I could turn back the clock, and not have been outside walking my dog...I saw a poor little chihuahua..walk out onto a busy street and get run over...I saw it coming at the last minute, and I couldn't look..But the dog limped away from this!! This car was going 40 and never stopped, no braking...nothing and just kept going! I ran back into the house to get my own chihuahua back inside. and thought this poor dog didn't stand a chance! limping in the street with busy traffic.. I grabbed my dog's leash, because I saw this poor dog had a collar on...and he made it !!! to the front yard of a house...I could not believe this dog was in one piece!! I rescued him! And more neighbors came out to help me! Little white and tan spots, and he had cataracts in one eye and squinty in the other! The poor guy was half blind and that might be why he wandered into the street! And I saw the sign in Publix today!! for this lost dog!! I called ! His name is Poncho!!

February 7, 200521 yr That had to be the most innane, boring-ass halftime show in recent memory. Nearly as bad as the Britney Spears/Nelly/Aerosmith debacle.
February 7, 200521 yr I thought it was fine. The alternative lately is to have a stage full of MTV hip-hop acts shouting incomprehensible lyrics with women gyrating all over the stage. And although I'm a full-blooded american male, that kind of thing just gets awfully tired. Or else it's an aging rock group way past their prime. If it's a debate between aging rockers, I'll take Paul McCartney over Aerosmith and Elton John.

February 7, 200521 yr McCartney is alright, but a sporting event really isn't the venue for his kind of music. Would have preferred some type of music with more energy, Green Day, the RHCP, Pearl Jam could have provided a show that complements a sport event better, along with several Latin and Rap/R&B groups with some type of beat.

February 7, 200521 yr I really liked the halftime show. Sure, could have been more upbeat, but it was great to hear the crowd sing the end of 'Hey Jude'. Plus 'Live and Let Die' fit well. I think they should def. get someone like Metallica to play at a halftime show before Hetfield's voice starts going away. I really can't think of a more perfect act for the Super Bowl, a fast paced agressive yet intelligent music that'll fit football and a huge name in music that will satisfy the high ratings. Since Led Zeppelin or the Rolling Stones aren't going to be doing the show anytime soon, they'd be the best fit. But we'll probably get Ashlee Simpson.
February 7, 200521 yr Awesome halftime show, but I don't understand the choice to play "Get Back". He should have done "Hello, Goodbye" and then "Drive My Care" IMO. And they didn't do na na na na na na na HEy Jude long enough.

I'm definitely with you on that one. I really enjoyed the halftime show. When he first started, I thought it was just gonna be a very mellow Paul McCartney show, but when he started "Live and Let Die", I really started to get into it.. Then I got the chills hearing everyone sing "Hey Jude".... Very good halftime show... But I think Metallica would be awesome...
