July 23, 200323 yr Unless the Cubbies are giving up one of their top kids; this trade is an absolute steal. Ramirez fills the 3B hole they have had for EVER, Lofton is a solid veteran leadoff hitters and they still have a crapload of young pitchers.

The 'spos were down by only one, there was no point in loading the bases. but unless it changed their mindset...it didnt matter cuz they didnt score more than 1 runs...and by that time when he hit pudge we were leading 2-1 Bobby V. i guess misunderstood or is just very oblivious to the fact that it prob. wouldnt have cost them the game :confused
July 23, 200323 yr cubs gota great deal and prob got the 3b for the futrure even thou Rameriz isnt haveing the year that he did year he still has the ponteial to put up those numbers just like Kelesko... great deal 4 the cubs this could actually put them ova the top i was shocked when i heard it.. but i think the pirates would have been better off to trade those 2 guys to a dif team and would have got much better in return
