April 16, 200521 yr Author ratzinger's a 6-seed? and duke's a 4-seed? what a farce. those two should be 1-2.
April 16, 200521 yr i hate ratzinger. he will probably get it to further annoy me and make me hate furhter my church's own stupid policies. oh well, i'll just continue doin as i have been doing.
April 17, 200521 yr Ratzinger, is that the guy who belongs to Opus Dei? Yeah, if he is, I'd be afraid, too (and I'm not even Catholic).
April 17, 200521 yr Oh man, that bracket is hilarious. 745176 Putting Notre Dame in there would be more hilarious.
April 18, 200521 yr i like ratzinger, personally i'm pulling for madariaga, but wouldn't mind having ratzinger as pope.
April 18, 200521 yr and how would that be? what's driving the church back to the 1tth century to you?
April 18, 200521 yr I'm rooting for the Nigerian guy. wasn't ratzinger in the Hitler youth or something?
April 18, 200521 yr and how would that be? what's driving the church back to the 1tth century to you? 746494 nothing yet. granted right now the church is somewhere in the 14th century. but with ratzinger being more hardcore conservative than jp II he will drive the church backwards in terms of modernity.
April 18, 200521 yr but what do you call modernity and the church being in the 14th century? how will he take it back to the 11th century. in other words, what factual attitudes do you think make the church be stuck in midevil times.

April 18, 200521 yr It has been ruled that betting on the Pope is an instant excommunication. If you don't get caught by the church then it is just between you and the man upstairs.
April 18, 200521 yr nothing wrong with the rituals. adds a sense of history, continuity, importance. about birth control, what's wrong with it? if people don't want to get inffected with HIV and other sex transmitted viruses then they shouldn't be sleeping around and only have sex with the person they are married with. they wouldn't have any problems if they did that.
April 19, 200521 yr NFP is a joke ... there are also other benefits to birth control devices, other than the obvious anti-pregnancy effects
April 19, 200521 yr nothing wrong with the rituals. adds a sense of history, continuity, importance. about birth control, what's wrong with it? if people don't want to get inffected with HIV and other sex transmitted viruses then they shouldn't be sleeping around and only have sex with the person they are married with. they wouldn't have any problems if they did that. 746840 you know according to church teaching even a married husband and wife cannot use any form of birth control also right.
April 19, 200521 yr It has been ruled that betting on the Pope is an instant excommunication. If you don't get caught by the church then it is just between you and the man upstairs. 746810 oh for christ sakes Cape.... :plain

April 19, 200521 yr yep ... i feel blessed everytime someone has more kids than they can support I love the thought process behind NFP, where using a thermometer to get a reading from inside a woman every day, and then charting it and scheduling all activity around this chart and then hoping that there are not mishaps is more acceptable than just wearing a condom both techniques are designed to prevent sperm from hitting a fertile egg, both are relatively safe ... but one is deemed wrong for some unknown reason
