Mark
Seeing that the NFL draft is winding down to the rapid fire portion, with teams getting their last needs, how is your favorite team looking for next season with their new picks and signings? The Lions look to have an improved offense next season with the addition of Marcus Pollard at TE and Mike Williams coming aboard. The WR core is young and pretty deep, with Rogers, Roy Williams, and Mike Williams, along with Az Hakim. Kevin Jones is a good young back with a lot of potential for success. Also the signing of Jeff Garcia will force some competition on Joey Harrington, hopefully making him better. The defense is pretty solid, with players like Dre Bly, Fernando Bryant, and Boss Bailey holding it down. Shaun Rogers, of course, is the stud of the group at DT. They picked up Kenoy Kennedy to add into the secondary along with Brock Marion, so that should be pretty solid as well. Overall, the Lions addressed their needs, picking up a DT, Shaun Cody, to go along with Shaun Rogers and Big Daddy Wilkinson, and picking up a CB to help fill the hole there. PhishPhan
The Dolphins are so bad, they don't only lose games, they lose 5th round picks into thin air.
Guest Juanky
We swapped 5th rounders with KC as a result of the Patrick Surtain trade, and our fifth round selection was Anthony Alabi - OT.
sheff#1
The dolphins have had the best draft of any team so far this year according to Mortensen. He says they were able to snag 3 top 40 talents with their top 3 picks. also said all 3 players were at a time projected 1st rounders. The Fan
Really liked Miami's Day 1. Would have liked to see us take Elton Brown in round 4 and Brandon Browner in 5.
SlapHands69
I am pissed as a Skins fan, especially here in the late rounds. Picking up a 26 year old rookie LB? WTF Passed on some good WR in the 4th round. Drafting 2 FB's WTF? Joe Gibbs sucks as a GM. I hope these scrubs prove me wrong *Update* Starting to like the 26 year old rookie LB, McCune. :o
Dodge
I'm excited about Carlos Rogers, I have a thing for rookie DB's. Jason Campbell was an interesting pickup in the late 1st round. We could see him do a Roethlisberger-esque relief for Ramsey if he gets injured, who knows? Overall, in the rest of the draft, I think the Skins have drafted pretty smart, but we'll wait and see. I'm really excited about him and I hope to see him starting in the fall.
Mets_bs
Giants didn't have a lot of picks (4 total) but made some great picks especially on day one. Luckily we were able to address our glaring needs in Free Agency and were able to utilize the draft more for depth. Corey Webster is a guy who could have gone in the first if it weren't for such a strong CB crop. Eventually he'll take over for Will Allen which is a big plus, he should benefit from a year of playing under the two Wills and could step in next season when Allen is a Free Agent. Tuck is a guy I was clamoring for in the second, I nearly had a heart attack when he was available in the 3rd -- and it took the Giants all of 15 seconds to get their card in when their 3rd round pick came along. He'll be used as a situational pass rusher early and should eventually work himself into a solid rotation with Osi Umenyiora and Michael Strahan. Probably my favorite pick of this draft. Brandon Jacobs is the biggest running back in NFL history -- and we really need him. He's going to be a huge short yardage back and a nice blocker in the back field so we can cut Shockey loose more. He also has scary moves for a guy that's 6'4'', 267 pounds. At worst he's a situational guy who can move the pile on 3rd and 1 or in the red zone; at best he's the new breed of RB in the NFL and will be an absolute menace. I'd lean more towards a situational back, but it's nice to dream. Have no idea who Eric Moore is, but he looks like he could be a decent situational pass rusher, which are hard to come by in free agency. Any Seminole fans out there that can give me a little more insight? Couple that with an amazing free agency, and we're solid contenders for the NFC title. Mets_bs
Did I st-st-st-st-stttttutter? We added the best WR on the amrket which was a huge need and cost 2 games late in the season against the Steelers and Bengals. We added much needed protection for Eli and a massive roadgrader for the running game in Kareem McKenzie. And we stole YOUR defensive MVP last year and probably the smartest MLB in the NFL in Antonio Pierce. Yes, compete for the NFC title. And how could I forget, a clutch kicker in AJ Feeley. Mets_bs
If the Giants suck so bad, name 6 teams better in NFC than us. Go ahead. I can think of 3 or 4, and that being generous. 1. Eagles 2. Vikings (even though they can't beat us) 3. Falcons 4. Seahawks

You at least have to watch him play one season - full season, mind you - before you start talking about NFC titles. Division, sure, I'd say the Giants have a good a shot as any.
