Bump's been pitching great all year, and he will continue to be a solid member of our bullpen throughout the rest of this year. The groundballs just found holes today, where they hadn't the rest of this season. That's just bad luck, nothing anybody can do about that.

This is EXACTLY like what happened the other night against the Padres with Jim Mecir, Jack has NO IDEA how to manage a bullpen and if this is an "old school" way of managing by letting relievers stay in a game when they should obviously be pulled, well f*** the old school style, it sucks.

 

We had a chance to come back, but Jack just leaves Crowell in there to make an already bad situation even worse when it was so obvious he should have been pulled.

We only had 3 outs left and we were down by a lot.

 

So he was basically throwing in the towell by leaving him in there and letting him finish it off.

 

Look at it this way: Wouldn't you rather him pitch in a game that were down by a lot with only 3 outs to go then in a game that were leading and going to win?

At least Lowell got a double and Rbi that is a nice touch to the Loss.
