Wanna listen to the game? go to www.floridamarlins.com

then go to listen to game LIVE click there and click on Florda vs O's

The Fish are losing 7-6. I believe someone name Mercer (?) is pitching for the Marlins.

Does anybody know who the heck that was who blew the lead? I guess we can't be too concerned as the regulars played well. :mischief2

Loop would have closed this one out - no problem.

It's only Spring Training! Go Fish!

UPDATE!!!

Hooper strikes out to start the 9th....

Walfin (or something like that) flys out to LF....

Allen strikes out to end the game.... :(

im mad how an we give up a 6-1 lead in the last atbat for O's :angry

Mairena started the inning and was replaced by Rich Croushore, who hit a batter, walked a couple, and gave up a couple hits. Not very impressive...

mlb.com is streaming all spring games...

go to scores and then click audio

Croushore came in with a 6-4 lead and hit a batter with 2 on and walked a batter with 2 out and bases loaded and then gave up a 2 run single and screwed up the game..

i think he can pack his bags already

Disappointed?

Damn Admin your gonna get an ulser with this game and running the site. :p

Guess some guy's in the farm system are not ready yet or something. Did not see the game so do not know.

Recap

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. -- For the second consecutive game, the Orioles' minor league pitchers couldn't hold a lead in the late innings. But the offense rallied to secure the win.

After the Florida Marlins tallied five runs in the top of the seventh off Baltimore prospect Mike Paradis, the Orioles rallied with four in the eighth for a 7-6 win Friday at Ft. Lauderdale Stadium.

Rick Croushore walked Admin Bigbie to score a run and then allowed a two-run single to Eli Whiteside for the decisive runs.

Abraham Nunez gave the Marlins the lead with a two-run single off Paradis and then Chad Allen followed with a towering two-run homer to center field.

The Orioles again received solid outings from their veteran pitchers as slated No. 2 starter Omar Daal allowed no hits in two innings while Pat Hentgen allowed one in his two-inning stint.

The Orioles scored three runs in the first inning when they loaded the bases against Florida's Brad Penny on singles by Brian Roberts and Melvin Mora and a walk to David Segui. Former Marlin Jeff Conine followed with a sacrifice fly. After Jay Gibbons cashed in Mora with a bouncer to second base, Tony Batista singled to left to score Segui.
