One of the things I like about McKeon's managing style is that he always has someone ready in the bullpen. He may not always have the best one up and this may limit each reliever's in-game endurance, but should a pitcher ever be needed in a hurry Jack is prepared.

No one ever said Moneyball is infallible. It just gets all this attention because of the book. It's just another way to run a baseball team.

 

Billy is in a rebuilding season, anyone who said this team would win 90 games was on some good grass. The offense has been a joke, Chavez and Kendall haven't hit above .250 all year.

 

They'll pick it up at some point, and finish with a decent record.

Logan has not shown that he can pitch at the Major league level, not last year and not this year. Why do they keep him on the roster? He needs to stay in the minors a bit longer and continue to work on his game.
