No one ever said Moneyball is infallible. It just gets all this attention because of the book. It's just another way to run a baseball team.

 

Billy is in a rebuilding season, anyone who said this team would win 90 games was on some good grass. The offense has been a joke, Chavez and Kendall haven't hit above .250 all year.

 

They'll pick it up at some point, and finish with a decent record.

Can't really say he isn't any worse than Valdez since Valdez hasn't really pitched much this season, though I don't think Kensing is ready for the majors yet.
