According to the Palm Beach Post, the Marlins sent Bazardo down immediately following the Mets game.

I thought that there was a rule that when someone was called up, they couldn't be sent down for something like 10 or 21 days after being called up?

Pretty sure that's the rule for calling someone back up too soon who was recently demoted that you are thinking of.

I felt bad for Bazardo he had great stuff just tries to nibble just like Kensing. Those are rookie mistakes. Hopefully he can have more confidence and come back soon.

Welcome back MOTA!

Anyone notice the large amount of 1st-pitch changeups he threw? He had pretty poor command of that pitch, I thought, compared to his 2-seamer, which looked pretty good. Agree with Admin also. Damion turns that DP and the entire night could've been different. MAybe Yorman can take that as consolation.

Yep. Meant to keep GMs from sending down their starting pitcher for a few days for an extra reliever or bench player.

it was his first Major League game give him a break. He definetly didn't have his stuff yestersay.

Believe me, I find no fault with Bazardo at all.

The point is it was a dumb move by the FO.
