First Place

Featured Replies

I find it lovely that we can lose 6 of our last 7 games and still be in first. That just shows that we are so good, we had room for some losses. I just hope we got them all out of our system now. It is time for another big winning streak.

This feels like de ja vu(sp*) all over again. Last year we were in first place at this time, but we weren't playing that well, we let Atlanta hang around then they caught fire in July and August, and before we knew it we were some 12 games back.

sad, but true. We are wasting good starting pitching performance.

And is not only Atlanta, everyone can win this division.

We have 2 more games at PNC, and then to Washington.

We just really need to catch fire.

We're not playing up to our full potential. Just imagine how good we'd be doing if Lowell and Pierre could play the way they play. Boy, we'd be unstoppable.

On another note... Castillo really needs to rest that hammy. It's never going to get better if he keeps playing on it. We need his speed.

Yeah, the point is we could be building a lead right now. Man this sucks.... nothing like a bunch of losses to kill the buzz of a winning streak. :banghead

even the Phillies are only 3 back. christ. :mad

Bleah. Something good happen. Soon. I hate Pittsburgh. WTF is with the defense. Come back soon Mike Lowell.

There I feel better.

Juan Pierre not hitting is what is really hurting us... not lowell or nate bump

So a guy at a prime power position that can't hit doesn't hurt the team?

JP not getting on base for our RBI producers hurts more than Lowell not hitting in the 6 spot. Granted lowell not hitting hurts but we NEED JP to get on base for Delgado and Cabrera.

Well yeah, but Lowell is also really hurting the team (I agree Bump is fine though).

The thing that makes me sick is that if we had not lost all these games, and the braves playing the way they are, how many games would we be on top. For me, its not that we are still in first place, its how we are playing right now, and what the furture holds. :(

Once JP starts hitting, we'll score runs in bunches.. and once we start doing that, Lowell is bound to heat up. imo

You know, i bet the Braves fans are saying the same exact thing about us.

We got this man! The Marlins are just not playing up to their full potential. We'd be sicker than sick if we were.
