June 7, 200519 yr Yahoo! Sports Game Preview After a dismal road trip, the Florida Marlins return home for a three-game interleague series with the Seattle Mariners, having fallen into last place in the NL East. Fortunately for the Marlins, they are only 1 1/2 games behind the Washington Nationals, who swept them over the weekend. The Marlins went 1-6 on their road trip and have dropped 10 of their last 12 games. They left 12 men on base Sunday, 35 in the three-game series, and 98 in their last 12 games. They've been regularly out-hitting opponents -- 13-9 on Sunday -- but the clutch hits are few and far between. ``Thirty-three hits and 35 men left on base ain't going to get it done,'' said Marlins manager Jack McKeon after Sunday's 6-3 loss. ``We're glad to get off the road, no question.''  The Mariners arrive in Dolphins Stadium, having won their last two games, including Sunday's 6-5 victory over Tampa Bay. Richie Sexon doubled home Adrian Beltre in the bottom of the ninth to give the Mariners the win at Safeco Field. ``Richie has been pretty much coming through all year,'' Beltre said of his teammate. ``He's been driving in runs, hitting a lot of home runs.'' Although Sexon is just hitting .246 for the season, he has 13 home runs, 44 RBIs and a .520 slugging percentage. Stat of the Day: Brian Moehler at home this year: 1.60 ERA, 1.01WHIP, .225BAA (7G)
