What can stop this?

Featured Replies

Not 7 quality innings and 2 RBIs from Brian Moehler. Not enough.

I think the team is just hell-bent on getting back to .500, so they can start over. :p

One thing that we can be quite sure of...

Loria and Beinfest won't sit on their hands and watch this for much longer. You saw the bullpen moves already & that may not be the end of it.

I was hoping for a suicide in the ninth :confused

I don't know

I thing I know, this line-up is not as good as advertised during the post season

"best line-up in the NL"

"best line-up in the NL, after St Louis"

I don't care if the Rally Turd starts a game thread, something needs to be done and done soon...

:lol Losing sucks, but that cracked me up.

Check out the won-loss record according to who starts the game threads.? Bob Dole is on fire, someone summon him immediately.

Unfortunately he started tonight's. :(

Tom Hanks or Meg Ryan would guarantee victory

Making these moves in the BP is just grasping at straws. The BP is not the problem. Hitting with RISP is the problem.

On a side note... The thing I love about this forum is the fact that I could collect about 5 funny quotes from people on here everyday and then compile them into a hilarious book. I should start doing that because I read so many great things in here. Maybe my sense of humor is just simple or something.

Am I the only person that laughed at "In the words of someone who said it a long time ago... we're screwed." I thought it was funny.

I know things are rough but I don't think Jack is resorting to killing himself yet...

or you mean a suicide squeeze. :mischief2

Well, either :p

I kid.

You know what'll turn this around, if the fans at the stadium had a f'ing clue how bad the team is? I'm sick of hearing "ooooooh, Miguel, he's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute...you think he's got a girlfriend?"

Last night, they cheered them as they took the field (I booed). In general, fans at the stadium have no idea what's happening with the team outside of the game they're attending. If the fans, en masse, hold the team responsible, something may happen.

TSwift: Do you honestly think our players need to "be held responsible" by the fans to know they are not playing up to par? Do you really think that they don't share our frustration and disappointments? Do you think you sir take it any harder than THEY do after a loss? If so, then you don't know JACK (pun intended) about our team. Maybe you should go support the Nationals. :plain

You booed the Marlins? Now thats classy. At a home game no less. As a true fan you don't start booing until it is obvious the team isn't trying. Right now they might be stinking it up but they are trying. If you want to pass judgement on other fans expect others to pass judgement on you. Why even go to the game if you were just going to boo?

We need to hire hitmen to break the legs of select players in the AL east.

Chipper jones - mission was a sucess (jk)

Pedro next

C Cordero of the Nationals

J Guillien

B Abreau

Pat Burrells

Reyes

Livan?

Anyone else? hehee I need volunteers to sacrifice themselves for the good of the team.
