Anyone who was a Marlins fan in their innaugural season has to (well, they really don't have to) vote for the greatest reliever in Marlins history, Bryan Harvey.

 

Keep this in mind, of 64 wins that season Harvey saved 54 of them. An almost unbelievable effort !

Livan wasn't half the pitcher Penny was during their Marlins tenures. Both had stellar postseason series so I don't see where Game Five earns Livan the edge.

I've always considered a Hall of Fame to involve more than one season. That's why I think Gary Sheffield is the only player worthy of entrance (to a lesser extent, Brad Penny).

 

Sure, people like Bonilla, Alou, and Harvey and awesome single seasons and should be praised for that, but I don't think that's quite worthy of the Hall of Fame.

It's hard to NOT single in on a single season with a team with a 10 year history...

I went with Livan its not his fault that he got traded away. Not to mention every time i see him pitch I want him back in Miami more and more. The man just eats innings.
