If I understand it correctly, there was a meeting in the Marlins' clubhouse today in Atlanta (with god knows who in attendance?) and it was announced that if the Marlins lose tonight the manager and the hitting coach will be summarily fired. And since the post implies Loria was there, he told the team that if they fall six games under .500 he's going to start selling off players. Wow ! Now that's a major piece of news ! Hmmm... June 23, 200521 yr An additional reliever has the small amount of impact on this team, but it's not they can easily move one of the struggling bats or starters. And moving JP down the order only helps so much. A move for the sake of change. Honestly at this point, any amount of effort to right the ship is appreciated. Since the threat of major moves coming, all we've seen our 5th, 6th and 7th relievers rotate and Jack taking the path of least resistence to lower the players' grumbling.
