Will Dontrell get 20 wins?

Featured Replies

I was looking at the schedule and he will most likely get 12 more starts. Can he get 6 wins to make it to 20 wins?

I think if the marlins are going to win the wild card he will have to win atleast 6 more games.

Today Willis had an amazing outing. If he continues to pitch like that with few mistakes I say sure he will make 20 wins easily. However, if he gets off-track again I only see him winning about 18 games or so.

He's got 12 starts left (or something like that), he needs 6 wins. That means he just has to go .500 the rest of the way. If we're going to be at least a team in contention for a playoff spot, he'll have to go .500.

Personally, I think he's more likely to get it done than to fall short, but anything can happen.

I've been excited about this all season but havent mentioned it out of fear of jinxing him. It would be an awesome accomplishment and a great thing for our young franchise.

I think he would be a great player to be our first 20 game winner if he got it. Dont forget though alot of times pitchers dont get a decision at all. Even if they do pitch good. So I am not sure really if he will or wont.

I hope he gets to 20 that would rock.
